Indicative Total Remuneration: $$352,632 - $597,993 p.a. (pro rata) MD2 | Full Time, Until March 2024

As the Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to Mental Health Service Division patients, both in terms of individual performance and by providing clinical leadership and contribution to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care. You will be actively involved in teaching medical students and trainee medical officers and where appropriate Nursing and Allied Health staff as well as participate in clinical audit and quality, continuous improvement, safety and clinical risk management activities and continuous medical education activities. You will contribute to a culture of research and inquiry by supporting and participating in research in their unit and across the Division.

This role is partly a consultation liaison position. The position is split between Community work and Consultation Liaison and you will be working across 2 locations - Marion GP+ and Noarlunga Health Precinct.

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive clinical experience relevant to work in Psychiatry, participation in approved continuing medical education since attaining specialist qualification, experience with the supervision and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff and the ability to work independently and exercise a high level of professional judgement and medical competence in a multidisciplinary setting.
