Consultant Radiologist
Fractional/Ongoing 7 hours per fortnight
The Royal Melbourne Hospital Department of Imaging provides general and subspecialty Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging Services to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, City and Royal Park Campuses and to Melbourne Private Hospital and has links with co-located precinct partners The Royal Women’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the University of Melbourne Department of Radiology. As well as a busy clinical workload, the Department offers opportunities for teaching of Radiology registrars and medical students and is actively involved in numerous areas of research
Your new role:
- The position purpose is to participate in patient care, teaching and research at the Royal Melbourne Hospital
- To comply with and participate in Quality Management policies and procedures for Radiology
- To support and participate in the Health Service OH&S Procedures and implement where appropriate at unit/service area level.
- To assist in maintaining a safe work environment by reporting any incidents of unsafe work practices, sites/areas or equipment.
- Must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia
- Possess a medical degree registrable in the State of Victoria and a postgraduate Fellowship of the RANZCR or equivalent with specialist recognition in the field of Radiology
