About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Respiratory / Thoracic Medicine Consultant within the Division of Medicine.
As a Consultant - Respiratory / Thoracic Medicine you will be responsible for the provision of an effective Respiratory Medicine Service within the objectives and the philosophies of the Division of Medical and Northern Adelaide Local Health Network.
In this role you will:
- provide medical care to public inpatients and outpatients.
- provide training and supervision to undergraduate and post graduate medical trainees.
- encourage and support team work amongst staff for optimal clinical service outcomes.
- participate in quality, safety and clinical risk management activities.
- be involved in continuing professional development activities.
To be eligible for this position you are required to hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
