SalaryWe are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, team-oriented Consultant/Specialist – Nephrology to join a dynamic team of clinicians.Prime inpatient responsibility is to supervise inpatients admitted under Renal Services, performing procedures including renal biopsy [Permcath insertion and acute vascular access (Vascath) insertion are preferred procedural skills] as required and provision of clinical input to consultations from the various disciplines in the hospitals.

- Total remuneration value of up to $514,421 p.a. is comprised of:

This position attracts a Queensland Health Attraction Incentive of up to $20,000 / $70,000!!Additional benefits to this role include:

This is a 305-bed facility and is the main referral hospital for the region, now providing integrated cancer care services in Central Queensland in the newly established building boasting state of the art medical equipment.The Hospital has four operating theatres and two procedure rooms. The operating theatre complex is supported by a 6 bed Intensive Care Unit. The Department is accredited for specialist training and is heavily involved in teaching and research.Location:

Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Nephrology with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). In general, this will require Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRACP).
- Possession of accredited skills in Renal Biopsy.
- Possession of procedural skills in Permcath insertion and acute vascular access (Vascath) placement is preferred
