APS6 Business Improvement to join a newly created team responsible for improving the systems, processes, and delivery of enabling services within the Agency to deliver a better staff experience by prioritising continuous improvement, efficiency, and service quality.The Branch improves the delivery of enabling services within the Agency and focuses on the systems and processes of enabling services to deliver a better staff experience to the wider-Agency, prioritising continuous improvement, efficiency, and service quality.The Branch will develop and implement tools and technology to analyse and design the service value in organisational design, enterprise architecture, and performance efficiencies in business areas across the Enabling Services Group in alignment with strategy. The Branch will support implementation of improvements through change management methodologies and introduce desktop technology productivity applications to improve ways of working.Where you can add valueThe
APS6 Business Improvement will play an important supporting and coordination role where your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating and coordinating project and change documentation, such as reporting dashboards, databases, and registers for project risks, issues, and benefits.
- Managing project schedules, tracking task deadlines, and reporting any identified or potential delays to branch leadership.
- Assisting with project quality management to ensure that deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client requirements.
- Coordinating input to produce accurate, timely, and relevant reports, ensuring branch reporting activities comply with agency standards and frameworks.
- Assisting in drafting various written materials, including business cases, plans, executive briefs, and corporate documentation for review.
- Supporting the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives within the branch and as part of a project team.
- Assisting in developing and presenting strategic communication and engagement plans, including executive briefs, talking points, presentations, and staff notices.

While this role is ideally performed from Deakin - ACT, Geelong - VIC, Brisbane - QLD, remote working arrangements may be considered.
