What if you could shape built and natural environments, and the future of those that use them?With us, you can.As a Senior Consultant in the Hazardous Material and Occupational Hygiene team, your primary focus is to protect workers' health, and provide guidance to clients in order for them to meet their health, safety, and legislative requirements regarding the workplace, and occupational exposure.The location for this role is hybrid between our Gold Coast office with the option to work from home 2 days per week when you're not required on-site.We've recently delivered asbestos, HAZMAT, Occupational Hygiene consultancy services for clients such as:

- Rio Tinto
- Develop high-level technical and strategic advice for clients to protect workers' health while ensuring compliance and safety standards across all project phases
- Undertake site surveys and sampling of suspected hazardous building materials, pre-demolition surveys, indoor air quality, mould and moisture assessments, airborne contaminants (e.g respirable crystalline silica, dust, and chemicals), as well as physical hazards such as noise and vibration
- Provide technical guidance on sites during asbestos removal projects
- Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, driving project delivery and business development strategies
- Assume a leadership role in project management, focusing on achieving desired outcomes for key clients and securing repeat business through exceptional service
- Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and innovation
- Asbestos/HazMat consultancy experience or previous experience in a relevant industry such as environmental management, construction, civil or mining
- Experience in measuring and assessing occupational exposure to hazards in the workplace (e.g. environmental factors and stresses, chemical/physical/ergonomic/biological hazards)
- Solid project management background with a history of successfully leading projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Innovative approach and a commitment to technical excellence and best practices in Occupational Hygiene and environmental management
- Australian Driver's License, enabling you to effectively fulfil the requirements of the position
- Asbestos Assessors License would be highly regarded
- Interest in attaining professional certifications, such as Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) or equivalent
