The Role:
We are seeking a Consultant/Specialist Obs and Gynaecology to join a dedicated team in a regional coastal location, commencing as soon as possible until the 1st of February 2025

You will be expected to:
Provide specialist care to public and private patients.
Be involved in research and quality improvement activities, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Provide specialist advice to inpatient units as required.
You will be working within a progressive unit providing care to women through both Inpatient and Outpatient Servicers. Your work will be fast-paced and very rewarding. Busy Regional Hospital with average of 1600 births per year.
Facilities include 6 room birth suites, 28 bed post-natal ward, new Women's+ Outpatient clinic.
Visiting Specialist Clinics in Gynaecology Oncology and Urology Gynaecology
Work/life balance roster with on call shared amongst team of experienced colleagues.
Suitable for new consultant or experienced consultant.
Base rate up to $310,389 per annum, pro rata + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Provision of a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $25,758 per annum, pro rata.
Communication allowance of $1,948 per annum, pro rata
Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,000 per annum, pro rata
On call allowance % base salary
Relocation allowance
All other allowances as per current Award
In addition, subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of Base salary plus on-call, pro rata) of additional payment will be paid from (PPS).
If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid.

Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
