This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
- Create content to support the needs of all relevant motors business units.
- Create, manage and deploy outbound customer communications (i.e. emails).
- Manage scheduling and logistics for the busy media loan calendar drives for all relevant media outlets in Australia and New Zealand.
- Work with key stakeholders (including Sales, Sales Operations and Service) to develop target marketing plans with a coherent integration of marketing tactics, event and PR activities to achieve business goals.
- Assist in the development, management and implementation of a comprehensive event calendar with centralized tracking of all regional marketing events including test drive events, lead generation events, brand partnership events and external corporate events.
- Research and recommend new media and influencer opportunities for Tesla motors products.
- Monitor media coverage on Tesla and related industry news and produce coverage reports where necessary.
- Assist in project management and initial content creative for external newsletters, collateral and customer communication (i.e. emails and letters).
- Lead the development of digital content for website and LinkedIn including customer stories.
- Develop in-store programs and campaigns to engage existing leads and create new leads.
- Assist in the planning of regional activities including store openings, test drives and lead generation events.
- Work with communications team on consistent and effective messaging of external documents and promotional materials to support our marketing activities (e.g. collateral)
- Effectively deliver results of marketing objectives within the designated and agreed budgets.
- Evaluate and track the success of programs and campaign
- Ensure compliance with global brand strategy and corporate identity for Tesla Motors.
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role
- Degree in communications, PR, journalism or related field required
- Excellent communication and copy-writer skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic that is required to drive business outcomes
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience with InDesign (desirable)
