The West Coast Eagles is an iconic Australian sporting brand with over 100,000 members. The Club formed in August 1986, playing its first official match for premiership points in 1987. Our women's side played its first game for AFLW premiership points in February 2020. Since then, the club has enjoyed significant success, winning premierships in 1992, 1994, 2006 and 2018. About the role
The Club has a full-time permanent opportunity for a vibrant Consumer Engagement Representative to join our Consumer Business Department.
This role is integral in providing outstanding customer service as the first point of contact for West Coast Eagles members and fans through the Customer Services Centre (CSC), in addition to the active promotion of membership and ticketing sales through outbound initiatives.
Reporting to the Consumer Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Provide customer service to both members and fans within the CSC to ensure outstanding membership satisfaction scores are maintained and developed.
- Assist with outbound call campaigns, and other member engagement initiatives.
- Undertake the role of first point of face-to-face, telephone and/or electronic contact.
- Ensure timely processing and data entry of new and renewing memberships.
- Assist with customer services duties and back of house fulfilments.
- Assist with member engagement initiatives and events.
Due to the nature of the industry and this role, there is an inherent requirement to work home match days and other club events which will include working some evenings and weekends.

- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with very strong attention to detail.
- Competent and able to conduct outbound sales campaigns.
- Highly developed problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- The ability to show initiative and work proactively and effectively in a team environment.
- Highly developed computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite of programs (with a focus on Excel skills) and demonstrated experience with customer databases or CRM systems.
