SalaryFindstaff are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Contact Consultant to join the AASN Team within Mas in Devonport, TAS. Working under a labour hire arrangement through Findstaff. Contract up to the 30/06/24. Maybe ongoing work with employment with client after this period.

About the Company
Mas is proudly part of the IntoWork Australia Group, a not-for-profit business providing employment, skills and support services for individuals and communities across Australia.
Mas National is contracted by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) to deliver Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) services across multiple states. Our knowledgeable and passionate team support employers, relevant stakeholders and individuals from pre-commencement through to completion of an apprenticeship/traineeship.
About the Role
Contact Consultants play a very important role in the management of Australian apprenticeships/traineeships by promoting pathways to meet Australian workforce development needs.
Contact Consultants also provide a high level of consistent customer service to our Apprentices/Trainees, employers and key stakeholders through provision of advice, training contract administration and monitoring.
These autonomous positions are exceptionally rewarding and include a company-maintained vehicle, phone and laptop. Mas also provides fantastic work/life balance opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing contact visits to apprentices and trainees
- Updating relevant Data systems
- Monitor active Apprentices and Trainees, supporting them through to a successful completion
- Develop and maintain strong industry links and stakeholder engagement
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship system and VET sector (highly desirable)
- Proven experience in a Business Development related or similar role
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to clients
- Highly motivated and outcome focused
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Certificate IV or higher in Business, Marketing or a related discipline is highly desirable
- Current and valid driver's license
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia. A current Working with Children and National Police Check is required
