GRACosway is the leading public affairs and strategic communications advisory firm in Australia and New Zealand. We provide expert advice to clients with complex, sensitive government relations and communications challenges. Our multi-disciplinary team of senior consultants offer expertise in public policy and regulation; strategic government engagement; issues and reputation management; transaction communications; investor relations; and media training.

GRACosway is looking for a Communications Coordinator, with the option to be based in either our Adelaide, Canberra or Brisbane offices. This role will suit a communications all-rounder with strong corporate writing experience, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and great interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

About the role

As Communications Coordinator you will work with senior colleagues to support the firm's communications and business development activities. A typical day may involve:

  • Liaising with colleagues to develop new business materials, including proposals, tender responses, and pitch documents.
  • Delivering internal and external communication materials, including e-newsletters, infographics, LinkedIn content and other marketing collateral.
  • Coordinating the workflow of the communications function
  • Editing and formatting written materials, including reports, publications, and digital copy.
  • Managing administrative tasks to support planning and reporting activities.
  • Collecting and collating data to measure the effectiveness of communication and marketing activities.

About you

Our ideal candidate for this role will have:  

  • Tertiary qualifications with 3-5 years' experience in communications, corporate writing, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to present confidently and write well – proven experience working in corporate communications is desirable.
  • Outstanding project management and/or demonstrated organisation skills.
  • High level attention to detail and proofreading skills.

You have a strong client service ethic, are highly organised, capable of managing a variety of tasks and anticipating the needs of colleagues and clients.
