Our client is seeking an experienced Manager to join their team in Fremantle on a permanent full time basis.
The Manager Assets and Services Strategy and Planning is responsible for developing and managing the Ports’ asset management framework and systems incorporating asset management Strategy and Planning, decision-making, asset information, and risk respectively.
Key duties include
- Lead the development and execution of the Asset Management function
- Develop and mange the asset management system and process required to sustain existing assets and invest in new assets as required
- Develop and manage strategic asset management plans, and tactical asset management plans incorporating the principles of reliability centred maintenance
- Manage asset management capability in line with the Fremantle Ports master plan and strategic objectives
- Lead the optimisation of asset life cycle delivery
- Develop, implement, and manage performance metrics for asset management for reporting to executive management and the Board
- Work closely with the organisations Strategy & Planning and Operations divisions to meet asset sustaining and growth objectives
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or commercial discipline
- High level presentation and oral/written communication skills, including a capacity to prepare briefs, business cases, technical reports and management plans to a high professional standard
- Knowledge of numerical modelling, including its use for developing demand, operational and financial models
- High level knowledge of financial principles, including discounted cash flow analysis, project valuation, accounting principles and discount rate determination methods
- Strategic thinking, expertise/experience in strategic planning and execution of strategies
- Knowledge of asset management (strategy & planning) performance management and metrics
- High level experience of asset management systems and practices
- Proven ability to develop effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong ledership qualities across small or large teams
