This dynamic role will work with all parts of our business including interstate and regional locations; creating a range on varied content for socials such as video case studies with customers, and graphic design for Marketing. You will be engaged with all stakeholders of our business, from the factory floor to senior management. You will need to travel to our customers businesses, be involved in trade show and exhibitions as well as creating weekly content for social media. You will support are E-commerce business with photography and content to improve our SEO.

About the role:
We are looking for a creative individual who enjoys thinking and working outside the “box” to join our growing marketing team. We are after someone who can work autonomously to produce high quality content for both digital and traditional marketing channels to help drive brand awareness, engage our target audience, and support our marketing objectives.
You will have the freedom to make your mark and have fun with the content you create. We are in the growth phase of our marketing efforts and are very open to new, creative ways to highlight Abbe. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of content, including blog posts, articles, graphic art, photography, social media posts, videos, infographics, animations and more.
Reporting to our National Marketing Manager and working closely with our Group Sales and Marketing Director; and all members of the marketing team, you will work across both the Abbe corporate brand and our new Abbe Express brand. This role is a permanent, full-time position based on-site, in Coolaroo. The role may include but not limited to:
Video Production: Create and edit video content, including planning, scripting, filming, and post-production work.
Graphic Design: Develop visually appealing graphics for digital assets, brochures, and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Commercial/Product Photography: Capture and edit high-quality images to support brand-building efforts.
Copywriting: Create relevant articles and blogs while maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone across all content. Ensure all content is accurate, proofread, and well-researched.
- Research industry trends and competitors to ensure content is relevant and valuable to our target audience.
- Assist in the development of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals.
- Maintain our content creation workflow to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
- Optimise content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to coordinate campaigns, promotions, product launches, trade events, social media channels and content creation.
- Maintain an organised content library, ensuring easy access and retrieval of assets for the marketing team.
About you:
To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Graphic Design or similar.
- 2-5 years’ experience as a Content Creator or similar role (video production, graphic design, commercial photography and copywriting)
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in multimedia content creation, including video editing, photography and graphic design using the Adobe creative suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of social media platforms and creative requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to generate innovative content ideas and work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A creative mindset and a passion for staying up to date with current trends.
- Keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Experience with website redesign and creating wireframes.
- Display excellent time management skills, prioritising projects efficiently.
