We are looking for a Content Marketer and Copywriter to bring Tasmania's stories to life, inspiring and connecting travellers with our unique destinations and experiences.You are a talented communicator and passionate creative, responsible for delivering on-brand written content for online platforms, social media and advertising. You have strong technical ability to plan and execute content for a variety of digital campaigns and marketing briefs.Bringing innovative thinking and a collaborative mindset, you will work with various internal and external stakeholders, creating engaging content for target consumers that is representative of Tourism Tasmania's brand.If you are an experienced, creative Content Marketer and Copywriter with the ability to collaborate, solve problems, generate and frame ideas and have a strong connection to Tasmanian culture, we'd love to hear from you.What you'll be responsible for
- Creating, editing and proofreading on-brand written content across all platforms and mediums.
- Ideation and generation of story angles.
- Copy for social media posts.
- Advertising copywriting.
- Working closely with the relevant internal teams who measure content performance, collate and report results and insights for learnings.
- Selecting relevant imagery to enhance storytelling and support written copy.
- Support the Senior Content Editor to research, write, edit and proofread strategic, brand-aligned content that communicates Tasmania's unique qualities as a destination.
- Ideation and generation of story angles, creating content and working effectively with content partners, all aligned to client briefs and Tourism Tasmania's content pillars.
- Ensure written content is accurate, adheres to Tourism Tasmania's editorial style and brand tone, provides equitable and fair coverage of the island's travel-related products and attractions, fulfills client briefs and meets agreed timelines.
- Ensure content is respectful of First Nations cultural considerations and adheres to the Tasmanian Government Aboriginal and Dual Naming Policy.
- Write brand-aligned posts for social media platforms.
- Write advertising copy for campaigns ensuring digital content considers SEO requirements and adheres to digital style.
- Support the Senior Content Editor to ensure the appropriate systems and processes are in place to create, manage, approve, distribute and store written content resources, meeting copyright compliance guidelines and achieving efficiencies.
