Our Marketing Team is seeking a Content Writer for our growing community sector.
Currently our company, Helping Solutions, is a registered NDIS Provider with a mission to create an environment that improves living and promotes the well-being and sustainable independent living of people with disabilities. Our other company, Helping Community Solutions, is a Community Services organization established to assist the Department of Communities in housing at-risk youth during times of crisis. HCS offers solutions to help young people in crisis, including temporary and group foster care.
We are due to launch into another sector in Community Services and this means we have an exciting opening for an experienced Community Services sector Content Writer to manage all three entities, including our new and existing websites. The Content Writer will also conduct research, write blogs, manage company social media and draft internal and external communications.
The role would suit someone who has an appreciation, experience and understanding of the Community Services sector and is passionate about developing exciting and engaging content.
The Role
- Manage and develop website content for our Helping Solutions and Helping Community Solutions brands, including new divisions
- Create both engaging and promotional content across digital platforms.
- Create content for internal and external newsletter and email marketing.
- Drive growth and interaction across our websites and social media
- Ensure consistency across style, fonts, images and tone on our websites and branding
- Create engaging content for blog posts, articles, social media posts and more, to effectively communicate our service offerings, brand message and value proposition
- Collaborate with the marketing team and key stakeholders to brainstorm ideas, plan campaigns, and ensure consistency in brand messaging and positioning
- Conduct research on industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Conduct keywords research and create content that is SEO optimising.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of communication, internally and externally
- Assisting with researching and liaising with media publication to draft a media strategy that aligns with the company and new brands
- Liaising with staff across the company to become an expert in industry topics
The Ideal Candidate
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, creative writing
- Experience conducting research using multiple sources
- Advanced knowledge of SEO and copywriting strategies
- Self -starter with a positive, can- do attitude and the ability to influence
- 1 years+ experience in a communication, content writing or marketing role
- Strong written skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders with the ability to communicate ideas
- Previous experience in the Community Services sector or has strong passion toward community sectors
