Role
Are you passionate about writing and knowledgeable in Financial Advice? Join us as a Content Writer focused on crafting multimedia Continuing-Professional-Development (CPD) content in Financial Advice across Higher Education (HE), Vocational Education (VE), and Continuing Education (CE). This role is ideally suited for someone with prior experience as a financial advisor with strong knowledge of the Financial Advice sector. You'll collaborate with our in-house team of learning development specialists to produce approximately 20-30 original multimedia learning modules and short courses monthly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise to impactful educational content creation.
Responsibilities
- Write Financial Advice content subject outlines and briefs that outline content idea, learning outcomes and references for approval for development by Manager Academic Content (Financial Advice)
- Research and write high-quality Financial Advice content with reference to relevant and appropriate source materials supplemented by a diverse range of Financial Advice expertise
- Write multimedia content to rigorous technical, intellectual and academic standards (including learning outcomes) using highly refined processes
- Write and develop learner activities in collaboration with Instructional Designer to be included in content modules as knowledge checks for learners
- Identify appropriate industry and academic expertise (with appropriate qualifications and experience) as talent for video interviews
- Set up and interview industry and academic experts
Requirements
- Proven track record in developing comprehensive multimedia educational content, from initial scoping and outlining to defining learning outcomes, crafting assessments, and creating diverse learning artifacts (essential)
- A financial planning, finance or related graduate diploma, or related master level qualification (essential)
- Knowledge & experience in financial planning (essential)
- Excellent research and high-level writing skills
- Ability to express complex concepts in an easy-to-understand style
- Experience in writing educational content for online delivery, desirable
