Continuous Delivery Engineer

Location: ACT or remote considered.
Contract: 12 months with 2x 12 months extensions.
Eligibility: Australian citizenship and Baseline security clearance required.
Flexible working.

About the opportunity:

Federal government agency moving to enhance its Continuous Delivery capabilities, seeking a Continuous Delivery Engineer required to be multi-disciplined in the Linux/Unix and Windows space.

Experience in the Intelledox platform, running on Windows, would be an advantage along with the ability to regularly build and enhance Linux/Unix based systems. 

This role requires an individual who is tech savvy and mindful of the fast rate of change in the ICT world. They are required to be dedicated to their line of work and also assist with project and BAU work. 

Skill sets required:

• Advanced level skill with powershell scripting (Windows)
• Advanced level skill with coding in C++, Java and/or other languages.
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Experience with security codesigning.
• A commitment to knowledge transfer.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated the following experience:

• In the following technologies: Red Hat OpenShift and/or OKD, Docker, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Jenkins CI, Jira and Confluence.
• With one or more of the following scripting languages (i.e. Groovy, Python, Perl, UNIX shell, etc).
• Working with various database products (i.e. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
• With digital certificate management processes/products (i.e. Venafi TrustAuthority or equivalent).
• Programming with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) or equivalent.
