As an Ingham’s CI Lead you will identify and lead business wide Continuous Improvement initiatives and programs for our processing network. Working closely with Ingham’s leaders, you will establish and standardise processes and systems to facilitate and embed a high-performance culture across all of our Australian and New Zealand operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner, engage and influence key stakeholders to establish, implement and embed standardised processes across the Ingham’s network
- Identify areas of highest potential to generate returns and drive the business towards world’s best practice
- Lead strategic Continuous Improvement programs to support the achievement of the Ingham’s strategy
- Ensure Continuous Improvement initiatives are successful rolled out, fully integrated and embraced by the wider business to maximise efficiencies and performance
- Monitor and report on return on investment
- Employ performance driven Continuous Improvement activities and select and implement CI methodologies and tools
- Drive overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) implementation across the business
- Use of PDCA methodology to achieve targets
- Lead and facilitate change management activities to support the transition to new processes and ways of working
- Promote a culture of data-based decision making and Continuous Improvement through regular and rigorous performance benchmarking
- Define business performance standards/metrics and associated corrective actions to drive the business towards world’s best practice
- Train and coach the organisation on the use and implementation of Lean methods
- Ensure compliance with all government and industry standards/codes for product and process quality

- Experience of introducing measurable and effective companywide CI methodologies
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively across an organisation
- Knowledge of the consulting processes to lead engagement from inception to conclusion
- Skilled in teaching CI concepts and principles from senior management to front-line employees
- Able to manage and prioritise multiple organisation wide initiatives to achieve project goals
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience in implementing and sustaining change management / improvements
- Excellent communication style with high level interpersonal, relationship management skills
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedback
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic business environment
- Resilient and able to recover from setbacks
