Contract Administrator at MGM Construction & Development Pty Ltd
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised person to join the team at MGM Construction & Development Pty Ltd as a Contract Administrator.
This role is responsible for the provision of high level of commercial support, managing, negotiating, and supporting contracts with a range of stakeholders.
We require an applicant who is experienced and comfortable working with busy timeframes and who holds the relevant qualifications and experience as a Contract Administrator.
This role involves:
- Management of contracts, including approval and variations that may arise during the course of the contract;
- Attend to enquiries and concerns of which may arise, in the event of issues concerning contracts, projects and/or programs
- Inviting and processing proposals as well as preparation of contract documents and paperwork;
- Liaising with clients with respect to contracts, including explaining contract requirements, terms, and conditions to stakeholders/clients;
- Working with Project Managers, Designers, Engineering Professionals, and others to ensure that goals are met in accordance with contractual terms and obligations.
- Being responsible for responding to inquiries and resolving problems concerning contracts within time frames and according to budgets;
- Proactively manage contract risks that may occur;
- Keeping comprehensive records of negotiations, contracts, and other documentation as necessary;
- Advise on affairs which may require input by management seniors and successfully implement their suggestions and/or solutions.
- Review specifications, drawings and other contract documents and provide merit determinations concerning extra work claims and
- Ensuring all legal policies and regulations and applicable procedures are being followed.
