We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team and working out of our Milton office.
Job Description: We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to manage and oversee all aspects of our construction contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration within the construction industry and possess excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
- Manage contract documentation, including tracking deliverables and deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve any contractual issues.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on contract status and performance.
- Assist in the preparation of cost plans, quotations and proposals.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a strong Trade based background an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal terms, and industry regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
