Here is an outline of the role:
• Collaborating as part of a team on end-to-end processing for a bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycle for 1,500 employees.
• Preparing and submitting associated reports, ensuring all payroll deadlines are met.
• Ensuring electronic timesheet (Timewise) and leave reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
• Processing new hires and terminations, including calculating final payments and issuing necessary paperwork to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Maintaining electronic payroll records to ensure they are current, accurate, and easily accessible.
• Assisting in identifying and correcting inconsistencies or inaccuracies in pays in consultation with the payroll manager.
• Responding to general payroll inquiries via our automated system.
• Assisting with end-of-month payroll procedures, payments, and reporting.
• Assisting with end-of-financial and FBT year payroll procedures and reporting.
• Ensuring ‘Fund Selection’ superannuation choices are compliant funds, validated via the clearing house.
• Providing advice on employee contribution benefits for pre- and post-tax payments, such as novated leases and salary sacrifice superannuation.
You will need this experience:
- Experienced in Chris 21 or another payroll system
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office package
