The Role
Are you experienced in all aspects of payroll including payroll processing, EOM processes including PAYG and Superannuation reconciliations, financial reporting to management and STP/EOY processes and looking for a new opportunity? Then this is the job for you.
We seek an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to deliver an efficient end-to-end payroll service to our 400+ employees across local, regional and remote operations.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the end-to-end payroll function.
- Experience with Access MicrOpay is preferred.
- A sound knowledge of accounting and payroll principals.
- Current knowledge and understanding of taxation as relevant to various payroll payments and leave entitlements.
- The ability to interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements, employment contracts and company policies to facilitate accurate payroll delivery.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A high level of proficiency with MS Excel.
- An ability to identify and apply continuous improvement to processing practice, in particular time and attendance records.
This is a permanent full-time position based at our Corporate Office at Darlington in southern Adelaide.
