Ability Mentor Solutions is a Disability Supports Management Organisation that works using the Person-Centred Support Model for services provided under the NDIS.
Our Support includes the Management of Contract Support Workers for the people and families that utilise our services.
Our Contractors are engaged to empower the people we support and their families to have choice and control over their own lives and provide individualised support that is flexible and of high value.
The role and Responsibilities required for the position include the following:
- Sites located in Cleveland, Thornlands, Cooper's Plains, Belmont and Pallara.
- Male and Female clients living within both family home settings and Supported Independent Living settings.
- Assistance with Community Access and Daily Living (Personal Care Routines required)
- Weekday, evening, and Weekend work available
- Onsite training provided
- Must be able to work autonomously within a family home
You will need to have the following minimum requirements to be considered for this Contract Support Worker role.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- First Aid Certificate with current CPR yearly update
- Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance
- NDIS Workers Screening Card (or in the process of obtaining)
- Active ABN
- Smart Phone or Similar Device
- Personal Vehicle & Comprehensive Insurance
- Experience working within the Disability Sector
- Experience working as a Sole Trader/Contractor
