We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Junior Contracts Administrator, Project Manager and/or Estimator within our company. This hybrid position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across various aspects of construction management while working on exciting projects in Bendigo.
Key Responsibilities
- New client management and obtaining suitable plans & documents
- Sub-contractor & supplier cost management
- Vetting sub-contractor and supplier pricing
- Obtaining job costing & estimates
- Preparing client proposals
- Preparing contract documents
- Preparing building permit applications
- Liaising with the project coordinator on client selections
- Documentation control and organization
- Change order management
- Create project schedules, monitor & update
- Communicate & liaise with the builder, project coordinator & foreman
Experience & Skills
- Experience in either Contracts admin, project management, and/or estimating in the construction industry
- High level of computer skills and quick typing ability
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Willingness to work with our construction management software – BuilderTrend
- Ability to read & interpret plans
- Eager to learn new skills
- An interest in AI technology
- An interest in architecture & construction
- Knowledge of construction practices, codes, and regulations
