Contracts Administrator

We are on the hunt for a skilled Contracts Administrator, ready to handle the intricacies of commercial and industrial projects. If you have a keen eye for detail, a knack for negotiation, and a track record in construction as a Contracts Administrator, your expertise is needed at a rapidly expanding development firm with a robust project pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and revise contracts, including tender documents, and negotiate legal agreements with customers or suppliers.
• Organise and oversee the trade package tendering process.
• Provide guidance to the project team on commercial and contractual matters.
• Supervise the cost management and reporting process to ensure cost-effectiveness of the project.
• Manage the administration of variation claims, progress claims, and other financial aspects of the project.
• Ensure the project management software (Procore) is consistently up to date.

Skills & Experience:

• Preferably possess a Tertiary Qualification in a building or legal related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Contracts Administrator.
• Extensive experience in handling commercial and industrial projects from start to finish.
• Proficient in using Procore at an advanced level.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Australian commercial and legal issues relevant to head contracts.
• Working knowledge of major building trades.
