UGL Telecommunications, part of the Services Division is seeking applications from experienced Contract Administrators for an upcoming full-time opportunity.
About the role
This role is responsible for providing effective management of contracts, managing claims to clients, and ensuring subcontractor claims are being processed in line with company policy and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Contract Administrator will communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including the project team and senior management, and facilitate collaboration and decision-making to achieve project goals. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for monitoring and advising on compliance with contractual obligations.
About You
You will draw on your diverse skills and previous experience to create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
- Experience in a similar role preferably within a construction/ infrastructure project operations environment
- Demonstrated experience using Office 365 Suite of applications
- Ability to work effective in a team environment and promote positive behaviours
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change and learn new systems and processes
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain internal and external relationships
- Ability to work autonomously, maintain confidentiality and organise / prioritise demands
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated high level of negotiation and influencing skills
