AR Contracting Services is a privately owned construction company providing civil engineering construction services to private developers, state and local government clients.
We are looking for a Contract Administrator to join our team and work with our project teams in the successful delivery of projects.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide administration support by working with the Construction Manager in managing contractual obligations, variations, claims and documentation while providing compliance across these areas.

We are looking to employ an energetic and meticulous person to join our team in the delivery of successful civil projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Compare and review construction contracts to ensure expected conformance.
• Review materials and subcontract requirements to ensure contractual and program terms and conditions align with the head contract obligations.
• Prepare, review and submission of any contract claims, progress claims and variations in accordance with the contractual timelines, ensuring timely resolution and payment.
• Provide contractual advice to the project team and identify any risks & opportunities.
• Set up and maintain key project documentation control including RFI’s, drawings and document registers.
• Manage and maintain security and retentions including bank guarantee facilities.
• Assist in the management and tracking of project cost control and any budget discrepancies.
• Input into quality management, safety and construction administration.
• Supervise statutory requirements including OH&S and insurances.
• Prepare and manage the process of project QA plans, documentation and timely submission of as built compliance.
Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, construction, contract law or related fields
• A minimum of 2-3 year’s experience in a similar role
• An understanding of construction contracts, procurement and contract compliance
• An understanding of AS 2124, or similar, commercial contracts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-Motivated with a high attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Good computer skills
• Ability to work as part of a timeline focused team
• Has the right to work in Australia
