Now seeking a Contract Administrator to join the growing team, you will be responsible for supporting the project teams in the management and administration of contracts throughout the project life cycle, and ensuring the high quality and profitability of the projects are maintained, while financial and contractual risks are minimised.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and check subcontract packages
- Negotiate and review subcontract tenders
- Produce and maintain a procurement schedule that matches the program
- Preparation of accurate payment schedules
- Process progress / delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligations and timelines
- Set up and maintain job files, drawing and contract registers, sample boards and shop drawing registers
- Assist in management and tracking of project expenditure against budget
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
- Minimum 2 years contract administration experience working with a head contractor and ideally on interior, fit-out and/or refurbishment projects.
- Strong financial analysis and administrative focus with good negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines. Well developed time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
