DescriptionThis hands on role will see you oversee a number of key activities including the following; End to end management of a range of sourcing and contracts workIdentify and implement process improvement within the specific categories and the broader procurement functionManage stakeholder relationshipsImplement supplier agreements and various procurement strategies designed to deliver improved service levels and cost savings across the groupLead the full source to contract activities including tenders, negotiations, evaluation, award and post award activities including claims and variationsHave an input into the procurement change management program through execution of ideas and previous experienceProfileThe successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment across multiple packages with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to an environment of change.You will be experienced in end to end contracting and procurement, particularly within major projects or category managementKnowledge and experience developing and managing procurement and contract strategiesYou will have a strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at different levelsCandidates with a mining operations background will be looked upon favourably though I'd encourage you to apply if you come from a projects background alsoCandidates who have studied law and then moved into commercial contracts would be well set up to succeed You will have a strong attention to detail while being able to work through ambiguity and often without structureCandidates who are self-driven and can take initiative to deliver innovative approaches to your own portfolio as well as the wider team will succeed in this roleJob OfferPermanent roleSalary up to $170,000 plus super plus multiple bonusesExposure to major global commodity which has been one of the best performed in recent yearsOpportunity to join a growing team To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
