Key Responsibilities
- Create and drive engagement activities for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify risks and opportunities, negotiate, and influence decisions.
- Organize vendor meetings and prepare necessary materials.
- Keep track of vendor performance and maintain performance records.
- Generate management reports highlighting supplier performance.
- Build strategic vendor relationships and engagement plans.
- Develop category and location-based vendor lists for projects and corporate needs.
- Monitor project progress and contractor performance.
- Communicate regularly with key stakeholders.
- Enhance Vendor Management processes and provide training materials.
- Review contract management practices.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure performance standards.
- Take part in other strategic initiatives for the business.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a project or company of similar size and complexity, preferably in an EPCM environment.
- Extensive procurement/category management experience with indirect categories in a large EPCM organization.
- Ability to manage vendors and development activities with a focus on risk.
- Proven track record in creating effective category and procurement strategies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
- Excellent skills in analyzing risks.
- Ability to develop and improve processes with an agile and structured approach.
