As a Control SystemsTest Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our Heavy Industry projects forward, making a significant impact on our path to carbon neutrality.This Contract role, based in Perth (Redcliffe/Hazelmere), offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in ensuring high product quality through verification and validation of Control Systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and testing of technologies to power our mining fleet and rail locomotives, driving forward our sustainability initiatives.
- Take part in full lifecycle product development in a supportive and collaborative team environment, where your skills and creativity will shine.
- Utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure the development of top-tier test suites for industrial automation controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Control Systems, Mechatronics, Electronic, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Control Systems Engineering or a similar role
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming, along with various controllers and SCADA systems
- Strong understanding of industrial and automotive communication protocols and simulation code development
- Experience with software version Control Systems such as Git or SVN
- Passion for identifying issues and attention to detail
- Experience in testing industrial automation software, preferably for mining, marine, rail, or automotive applications
- Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and in multidiscipline teams
