About this role: Control Systems Support TechnicianBrunel are partnering alongside a global system integrator, operator, and logistics service provider to find a Control Systems Support Technician.
As a Controls System Support Technician, you will become an integral part of our manufacturing operation, where conveyors, lifts, and machinery facilitate the movement of pallets and trays within our automated warehouse. Most of the workforce are operators, so your role will involve fault correction and the oversight of automation systems, akin to babysitting crucial processes.
Think of our control rooms as air traffic control for manufacturing, where IT professionals sit in front of monitors, monitoring systems for faults and alerts, and communicating via two-way radios. You will be collaborating with MIS/MES specialists in the control rooms.
Your duties include:
Monitoring systems for faults and alerts and communicating via two-way radios.
Correct faults and oversee the automation system.
Collaborate with MIS/MES specialists in the control rooms.
Raising issues through our online ticketing system based in Germany.
Managing SQL Database reports.
Write scripts and create alerts to ensure seamless operations.
Working hours:
Operating from 5 am to 11 pm with day and afternoon rotations, the schedule offers flexibility with 3 on 4 off or 4 on 3 off arrangements.
What you need to bring:
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate effective collaboration within a team environment and possess the capability to work autonomously when necessary
Ability to recognise and address potential issues proactively, devising efficient solutions
Can demonstrate proficiency in time management and be adept at prioritising tasks effectively
Must have full working rights in Australia (PR or AUS Citizen)
Qualifications or certificates in technology would be highly desirable, (but not a requirement)
