SalaryIT First Responder is a boutique MSP and Cyber Security provider with a strong focus on delivering top-notch support and solutions to SMBs across Australia.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in systems administration, infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting, coupled with a keen interest in transitioning into the field of cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementation projects, including cyber protection
- Infrastructure and server maintenance
- Configure and deploy Microsoft 365 services
- Assist L1 & Helpdesk with escalations
- Assist Helpdesk by providing end-user support and ticket triage when required
- Uphold cybersecurity principles and compliance standards in all activities
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange Server
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 products and solutions, including configuration and deployment
Soft Skills:
- Strong desire for continuous learning and skill development (both hard skills and soft skills)
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant certifications or courses completed (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are desired but not necessary. You will be given an opportunity to complete certifications as part of your employment.
- Minimum 3 years working as an L1/L2 technician
- Full driver's license, own vehicle preferred.
