- Rate: $900/day + Super

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Senior Conversation Designer to join a well-known Australian Brand's project team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of conversational experiences while working with a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary team.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Conversation Designer, you will lead the design of enterprise-level conversational experiences across various platforms, including bot, voice, and messaging. Your role will be critical in ensuring coherent, context-aware interactions that deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients' customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create conversational experiences using industry best practices, UX research, usability, market research, business requirements, and customer data.
- Support the discovery of business requirements and translate them into use cases and high-level customer experience requirements.
- Develop dialogs, flow diagrams, and prototypes to effectively communicate conversational interactions and design approaches.
- Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to create detailed, comprehensive conversational interface design specifications.
- Ensure conversations maintain a consistent brand, voice, and tone to inspire customer confidence.
- Identify new intent opportunities to enhance bot containment and simplify agent processes in line with communication and channel strategies.
- Communicate design concepts, solutions, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior executives.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Conversation Designer or a similar role, with a successful track record of leading conversation design projects.
- Diverse backgrounds are welcome, such as UX or Service designers with language expertise, or Communications or Marketers with a passion for dialogue systems.
- Portfolio demonstrating Conversation Design and/or Voice User Interface design, and understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Bachelor's degree in design, interaction, or a related UX field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Knowledge of Natural Language technologies, Conversational AI, and Generative AI platforms, including their limitations and capabilities.
- Proficiency with current design tools and software, including Miro and Figma, for prototyping and design.
- Experience with conversational AI workflows, including analytics and optimization of conversational AI experiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities.
