Currently hiring an administrator to join a busy settlement team. This role has growth potential and could lead to a conveyancing role for the right candidate.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous conveyancing experience is a bonus, but not necessary. Full training on systems and processes is provided.
- At least 2 years of experience working in an office environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
- Keen work ethic, enthusiasm and commitment
- A positive and professional outlook with proactive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- The ability to take direction and feedback in a positive manner
The key responsibilities include:
- File creation.
- Answering phone calls and monitoring emails
- Document preparation / typing.
- Liaising with clients and other parties involved in transactions.
- Attending settlements when necessary
- Ordering of government searches
- Providing general support to conveyancers and other team members as needed
- Assisting with general office administration duties
