Beaumont Care Mt Tamborine is located on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland region. This 38-bed service offers quality care catering to a range of aging in place needs and respite services on site.
About the Opportunity
Beaumont Care are currently seeking a qualified Chef to join the team on a permanent part-time basis, working 3 days per week with rostered hours negotiable to suit your work-life balance. You will use your knowledge and passion for cooking and creating delicious food to meet residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements, including texturization to meet IDDSI guidelines.
About You
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or relevant experience
- Food Safety Certificate, and knowledge/ understanding of the requirements relating to an Aged Care environment
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Accurate record keeping and documentation skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a customer focussed approach to quality, improvements and feedback
- The ability to attend the service, located at North Tamborine, on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Cost Hinterland region
- Current Positive Exemption (Yellow card), or willingness to apply and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation unit
Please note: due to the location of the service, public transport is quite tricky, so you will need to ensure that you have reliable transportation to get you to and from the site.
