About You:
You will have experience running a kitchen within an Aged Care or hospitality facility which will ensure you feel comfortable stepping in to manage all facets of Food Services. You will have the ability to lead the day-to-day production with the assistance of kitchen hands and accept responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or Cert IV in Commercial cookery/ Diploma in hospitality)
- Food Safety and Handling Certificate
- Current Federal Police Check
- NDIS clearance or willing to apply for one
- Current Flu and Covid Vaccinations as per QLD government requirements
- Drivers licence and reliable car are essential
- Compassion and genuine empathy for the elderly
