Cook All-Rounder-Remote QueenslandWe are seeking an experienced Cook All-Rounder for this off grid property located in Far North Queensland.Candidates should have previous experience in short order and main meal cooking - must be willing to be hands on with prep and dishes and have previous experience in a similar role.
 
The property offers onsite fuel, food, guest accommodation and camping grounds.Being off grid, this role will suit candidates who enjoy living and working remote. If you love 4wding, camping, fishing and nature you will enjoy this location. The weather is warm all year round.

This is a very hands on role working across all areas of the property. 
 
Work available on site for singles and couples. 
 
Commence: 25th April 2024
 
Package:
 

• $32.76 per hour Monday-Friday
• $42.74 per hour Saturday & Sunday
• Accommodation & Basic Meals $150 per week

 
Duties:

• General prep and cooking of short order and basic main meals
• Menu includes Steaks, T-Bones, Burgers and fried foods 
• Maintain a clean kitchen
• Ensure correct food hygiene 
• Assist with dishes 
• Assist in other areas of the business
• Other duties as required 

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 6 month commitment required 
• Willing to live and work in a remote destination
• Be a team player 
• Excellent communication skills 

Additional Information:

• Candidates need to be able to handle living and working in in a remote location. 
• Ideally have own car; if not, pick up can be arranged
• Telstra 3G / 4G coverage available on site only
