Medical Officer Comprising salary $99,787 to $118,703, superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave with an additional professional development allowance and salary sacrifice provisions.

NT Health is looking to fill a Resident Medical Officer / Senior Resident Medical Officer Position in the Plastics Surgery unit at Royal Darwin Hospital. The role of a Plastics Surgery Resident is to provide patient care under the direction and direct supervision of the treating specialist clinician responsible for the patient’s care. The primary responsibilities of the Plastics Surgery Resident are to provide, the initial assessment of the patient upon admission, daily progress assessment of the patient, ensure communication with the senior medical staff and other members of the team providing care to the patient and deliver co-ordination and facilitation of diagnosis, management and discharge planning for the patient

Royal Darwin Hospital is a 367 bed main tertiary referral hospital within the region and offers a broad range of services in all specialty areas to the Darwin urban population as well and serves as a referral centre to the Top End of the NT, Western Australia and South-East Asia. RDH is the largest teaching hospital in the NT and is also recognised as Australia's National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre (NCCTRC).

Darwin is a vibrant, tropical, cosmopolitan city with a population of 150,000, boasting excellent access to world heritage national parks in Kakadu and Litchfield and 2 hours by plane to tropical Bali for long weekends.  The lifestyle is laid back with an emphasis on outdoor leisure activities such as camping, bush walking, cycling and fishing.
