Position: Cook / Commis Chef
- Type: Full Time
- Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 annually + Superannuation
- Hours: 38+ hours per week, including weekends and evenings

Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong understanding and experience with vegan and vegetarian cuisine
- Excellent food preparation and cooking skills
- Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently, cleanly, and with speed
- Creativity and an understanding of current industry trends
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Legal working rights in Australia
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality vegan and vegetarian dishes
- Assisting in menu development and maintaining high food standards
- Managing kitchen operations and ensuring smooth service
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Collaborating with the cafe team to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Implementing effective kitchen systems and procedures
Location: Exmouth is approximately 1200km north of Perth and is known for its spectacular Ningaloo Reef, the closest reef to land in the world.
