About the role
Work with our Piara Waters, Bassendean or Seville Grove team as a Food Coordinator on a permanent part time basis, 50 hours a fortnight. The role involves working Monday to Friday, typically from 7am – 1pm however these hours can be negotiated.
Develop the menu, respond to dietary needs and requests, and create meals that are interesting and healthy for the children at our centre. Make mealtimes exciting by bringing your passion for food into the kitchen and being a part of children experiencing new meals!
About you
You’ll be creative and passionate about food and cooking. You’ll love creating new meal ideas, cooking food from all cultures, and also have:
- No qualifications needed, just a love of food!
- Experience in a similar role is great but not required
- Ability to prepare and cook healthy and nutritious meals
- Knowledge of Food Standards Australia New Zealand
- Ability to budget, bulk order and control stock
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
