Hope Estate at the Landing is a restaurant & bar offering Novocastrians casual dining complemented by a range of Hope Estate's wine, beer & spirits overlooking Newcastle Harbour
We have an opening for a dedicated and passionate Cook/Kitchenhand to bring their culinary skills to the guests at our waterfront venue on the Honeysuckle boardwalk.
Working with the team under direction of our Group Executive Chef, this is your opportunity to make your mark with dishes to match our range of wine, spirits and award-winning beer.
Hope Estate at the Landing is currently open for lunch and dinner Thursday-Sunday and this role will include dinner shifts each day and lunch shifts on Saturday & Sunday.
The successful candidate will have:
- Recognised culinary training
- A genuine passion for producing great food that’s both attractive and delicious
- Safe food handling accreditation (preferred but not essential)
- Effective communication, ordering and time management skills
- The ability to work weekends and evenings
