The Opportunity
As Employee Relations - Work Health and Safety Coordinator you will take an active part in building and managing stable business and workforce by providing enough safe, efficient, positive, and energetic work place in retailers and head office, as a partner of the business in UNIQLO Australia. Also you will become a coach and a trusted business leader in ER/OHS/ related areas. You will raise and manage any identified issues to determine the best way forward as a company who aspires to become no.1 brand in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a trusted partner to retail and SSC (head quarter) managers and associated team members in relation to people management issues including;
- - Providing end to end employee relations advice and assistance
- - Conduct EEO investigations including bullying, behaviour, harassment, etc, and outcome meeting
- - Review HR policies, procedures, contracts and general employment laws quires from findings through the process
- Support managers in store and SSC to have performance management together with HR business partners
- Provide comprehensive report regularly to management, and organize meeting with them upon request to discuss further
- Monitor Hazard, Incident and Injury Management and early intervention and outcomes for workers and customers
- Support injured employees' return to work planning and monitoring as a RTW coordinator, including management of work cover premium with supervisors
- Manage digital record in HRIS, and organize the process to save information including confidential personal info
- Conduct an audit in OHS(occupational health and safety) and work together with managers to fix the issue, monitor the status
- Implement appropriate safety management system or optimize it from findings on the ground
- Support or conduct regular catch up with external regulatory bodies
- Communicate regularly with GHQ and keep UNIQLO Australia's compliance high and meet UNIQLO global expectations.

- Actively participate in the People Processes and ensure 100% are complete within agreed time frames
- Contribute to team culture plans
- Proactively work on yourself as an inhouse professional, rather than just an advice giver to the other function/team
As a Leader:
- Actively drive the People Processes
- Collaborating with team members inside/outside of HR team
- Contribute to and deliver on department and team culture and plans
Context/Scope:
- National support across all states/store locations
- This role will work across a number of key stakeholders and prioritise their needs
Knowledge / Experience:
- Knowledge of laws, legislations, of ER/OHS, such as National and State WHS
- Strong reporting and analysis of work health and safety KPI's and trends
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role preferred in a large, multi-site and national role
- Working experience together with team members oversea is preferable
