The Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement was formed in 2023 and is led by the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Quality and Enhancement). The Office is responsible for Curriculum Services, Student Policy and Integrity Services, Quality and Enhancement and Academic Quality, Compliance and Risk functions.
The Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement is within the Portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students). This Portfolio provides support to key strategic and operational functions of the University's student-related and academic services. Under the general portfolio, the Office team support Portfolio leadership and facilitate dialogue between key service areas to help the Portfolio ensure Flinders' educational offerings are innovative, of assured quality, and are student centred. About the Role
Flinders University Academic Quality and Enhancement team is evolving, and we are seeking an innovative and dedicated Coordinator, Information and Management to lead a range of complex administrative, strategic and organisational tasks and functions.
Working closely with the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic Quality and Enhancement) and Director, Curriculum Quality and Integrity, you will effectively develop and monitor operational plans, internal and external communications, professional development, finance and resource matters. You will also closely support strategic projects and priorities within the Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement.
As the Coordinator, Information and Management, you will also be responsible for:
- Providing efficient support for strategic initiatives across the Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of systems, processes and practices that support the operations of the Academic Quality and Enhancement functions.
- Providing high level support across varying initiatives, acting independently to investigate and provide recommendations.
The successful Coordinator, Information and Management will demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills as you prove your ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a range of stakeholders, at all levels. You will exercise judgement to prioritise tasks and meet required deadlines and will demonstrate the ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills in limited supervised situations.
The Coordinator, Information and Management will also demonstrate:
- Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Well-developed written communication skills with ability to prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, briefs and other documents and respond to enquiries autonomously.
- Commitment to high quality outcomes, including attention to detail, the ability to collate and analyse information from a wide range of sources.
