The Colac Otway Shire Council have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator Local Laws. This is a permanent full time position.
As the Coordinator Local Laws you will:
- Lead Councils Local Laws team in an effective and efficient manner and help to implement, administer and enforce relevant
State Legislation, Local Laws and Council policies relating to fire prevention, vehicle traffic and parking, litter, local law, animal control, school crossing supervision and other compliance and enforcement issues within Council responsibilities.
- Establish systems, procedures and culture within the Local Laws team that promotes a high level of customer service in the delivery of Local Laws services, with a focus on education.
- Support the Municipal Fire Prevention Officer in the delivery of the Shire’s Fire Prevention Inspection Program.
Salary information: $93,904.20 to $103,858.56 per annum plus superannuation.
