We are seeking a Coordinator of Library Services in a replacement role for Term 3, 2024 (fulltime).

The role

The Coordinator of Library Services at Saint Ignatius’ College has overall responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the Senior School library. This position will support and implement effective library and information systems and programs that contribute to the development of lifelong learning.  The Coordinator of Library Services is responsible for the management of all staff within the library to ensure the required standards are met.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an engaging educator who prides themselves on being an effective communicator who can build meaningful relationships with students, peers and parents.  
  • Be a current registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA).
  • Possess an additional appropriate academic qualification relevant to the role, e.g. Information Management (Library).
  • Possess or be willing to obtain, a current Working With Children Check, First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training.
  • Support and attend College activities as required.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work practices and management strategies.
  • Have an affinity with, and preparedness to support the Catholic ethos and Ignatian charism of the College.
