Temporary 6-month contract, Terms 3 and 4, 2024
Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School is a K – 12 co-educational, non-denominational school situated in the outer eastern Melbourne suburb of Warranwood.
Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School is seeking an experienced and motivated Secondary Physical Education and Sports teacher to commence the role of Head of Sport in Term 3, 2024, in a temporary position for 6 months (Terms 3 and 4).
We are looking for a confident teacher who can deliver Physical Education and Sport in the Secondary school with skill and enthusiasm, while also fostering a nurturing environment. Class 10 Physiology may also be part of the allotment.
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- The ability to work collaboratively and professionally.
- Experience in Steiner Education or an understanding of Steiner pedagogy is not essential for the role but would be an advantage.
- The ability to work effectively with adolescents and want to make a difference in the lives of students.
- The ability to work well with other staff members.
- Strong organisational skills are essential.
- VIT registration.
- Bus licence or willingness to get one.
