YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Coordinator on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week to join our team at YMCA Arundel Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)Service.

In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.

As an OSHC Coordinator you will assist with:

• The development of quality programs
• Manage the day-to-day running of the programs
• Coordinate staffing and rostering
• Ensure compliance with policy
• Undertake administrative requirements
• Work collaboratively with families and the school community

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services)
• Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain them
• A current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain one
• National Quality Framework knowledge would be advantageous
