About the Role
We are seeking a Coordinator to join our dynamic and supportive Community Living team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our Shared Living homes, overseeing a team of Support Workers and regularly liaising with the individuals we support and their families.
Working from a case management framework, you will ensure people with Autism are supported to live a good life. This includes an individual routine, things to look forward to each day, sharing a home with individuals who are compatible, being supported by people who are a good match, being connected with family, friends and the community, and maintaining health and wellbeing.
About You
To succeed in this role you will be caring, have values that align with those of the Association, have demonstrated leadership and management skills, the capacity to think critically, be organised and have good time management skills.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Experience in the disability sector, including case management
- Demonstrated experience in the recruitment, supervision, coaching and development of staff.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Knowledge of person-centred approaches to service provision.
- High level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- A full driver’s licence without P plates
You will be required to provide necessary clearances including a NDIS Workers Check.
