About the role
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and cultivating the volunteer network to build volunteer capacity for the Centre. The Volunteer Coordinator will work with staff to develop and implement volunteer activities and processes that support and enhance the Centre’s activities. Further, the Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, screen, orient, arrange training and match volunteers appropriately to programs, events and activities, will keep accurate records of volunteers and volunteer time as well as coordinate volunteer recognition activities.
